With this new release, AncesTREE™ now offers full chain of custody tracking against the USRW North American Standards for Certification and Chain of Custody for Urban, Salvaged and Reclaimed Woods, Version 1.
Chain of Custody is an information trail about the path taken by products from their origin, to the consumer, including each stage of processing, transformation, manufacturing, and distribution. Tracking the chain of custody (CoC) of your wood allows you to tell the complete story from tree to table, enhancing the value and profitability of your product and providing validation that the product was properly harvested or reclaimed and managed throughout. The story behind your wood shows that we take what was once considered waste and turn it into beautiful and valuable products.
